“Living in this life needs a heart” (Trinh Cong Son)

Although the CSR (corporate social responsibilities) trip to Quang Nam – Da Nang ended several days ago, our hearts are still beating to the meaningful song of TrinhCong Son. This is not the first time we participate in charitable activities, the memories of holding tiny hands and kissing the plump childens’ cheeks smelling of milk stated with us for a long time.

GIBC’s mission is not merely to help Vietnamese companies develop sustainably, we always aspire to contribute our energy and efforts for the benefit of the community. The young generation of GIBC is fortunate to grow up in a caring environment, but we are aware of that to have meaningful lives, we should share our good fortune with those less fortunate than ourselves.

As usual, PepsiCo Vietnam annually organizes visits the disabled, orphans and poor people in Quang Nam province. Accompanying Pepsico on 15 to 16 January, GIBChopes our trip can brought a warmer Tet Holiday for the less fortunate people in Central Vietnam

We sincerely thank PepsiCo Vietnam for facilitating this trip, and deeply to express our gratitude to the valuable sponsorship of Kinh Do,  Nutifood, patrons, and artists.  All of you have made the success of the trip.  This support has brought love to each underprivileged children, given warmth to the alone elderly, and dispelled the lonely and unhappy feeling they may have had.

We are happy that we could bring smiles to the faces of so many children and elderly people, and we believe that we received more than we offered.

From this trip, we recognize that happiness sometimes is the simplest thing of life. In cases, children have desired to be loved or the old have longed to family gathering. Now, their bliss is simple just as there are someone asking or taking care about them. In this society, no matter who we are and no matter how success we have, we ourselves always desire to be loved.

GIBC has affirmed that CSR is not only voluntary but also an inseparable part of the business strategy which aims to sustainable growth. Indeed, it would be a big mistake  for businesses to assume that social responsibility is only the work of the State, as this is not thinking strategically about the values CSR can bring. A successful entrepreneur, according GIBC, is a corporate citizen who sets CSR as an important factor to succeed.

Again, GIBC sincerely thank to all CSR businesses as well as longtime partners and close friends, who together brought great success to the trip “Visit the disabled, orphans and poor people in Quang Nam province”. As a result, this trip has donated nearly 2 billion VND, 1,000 prizes and 100 kg of clothes, toys and books. The enthusiastic contribution is the motivation for us to prepare the next journey.
